Weather-Ready Nation is a NOAA initiative that was founded in 2014 to provide information and education on preparing for the effects of weather-related phenomena in all its forms. In the words of the National Weather Service, “NOAA’s Weather–Ready Nation is about readying your community for extreme weather, water, and climate events.”
