Activations

Weather spotters may self-activate or may be activated by their regional coordinator. Activations may also be announced in posts on this website. When activated, Bay Area Skywarn weather spotters should report weather events according to the reporting criteria directly to the NWS Forecast Office in Monterey, CA (MTR) as they were instructed.
